Dinner Special Goodness of vegetables and cereals

Eastern inspired cuisine, a few weeks ago I created a delicious salad of steamed vegetables and cereals that this is so pleased with my sisters (which I do not expect it at all given their tastes) that today I have decided to it to all my family: the result has been a real success!

I therefore seize the opportunity (albeit a bit 'late) to attend the collection of cereals of "The Greedy Cat" sponsored by Prometheus Urbino : D

GOODNESS 'OF VEGETABLES AND CEREALS

Ingredients (for 4 -5 people ): 300 g of mixed grain (hulled oats, wheat, rye, brown rice, hulled barley and hulled barley), 2-3 carrots, 3 zucchini, 150 g cherry tomatoes, 1 clove of garlic, olive oil salt and pepper.

Preparation : Soak cereals for 6 hours, then drain, rinse and cook in a pot full of water with a little bit 'of salt for about 50'. When cooked, place them in a bowl and leave to one side to cool.
In a pan, let brown in a little oil, a clove of garlic cut in half and a private shoot, then add the carrots that have already cut into pieces, and add a little more than half a glass' warm water and allow it to consumption. Next, cut the zucchini into chunks and add them to carrots adding another cup of hot water.
When this building will be consumed, add the chopped tomatoes into four parts;
cook for 5 'and then add salt and pepper to taste.
Holding the flame still burning in the pan, sauté for a minute or two cereals with vegetables. Serve warm.
