Last night we had guests for dinner: my parents wanted to reciprocate the invitation of a couple of their friends (a colleague of my father and her husband) with a special menu based on mushrooms. Now, I've never been a lover of mushrooms, but the ones I ate last night, prepared lovingly by my mom, were really Special!
The evening was really nice because guests (it was the first time I knew them personally) two people are really nice and funny.
Here's what we ate:
First noodles (homemade by my papi: D) with porcini sauce;
Second sopressa with polenta and porcini;
Dessert: black cheesecake .
Uhm ... try to guess what I have prepared? Eh, I know, too easy:)
That last night was my first cheesecake , and as my usual, I could not resist the temptation to change some little things of the original recipe ...
The result was exceptional, a real treat for the palate!
